Academics

The Theta Epsilon Chapter of Delta Delta Delta values their liberal arts education at Southwestern University. One of the main purposes of Tri Delta is to broaden the moral and intellectual lives of its members. Academics are a top priority for the members of this sorority.

We recognize that education is what brought us to Southwestern, while Tri Delta helped us establish a perpetual bond with each other. The two are forever and intrinsically intertwined. Tri Delta is constantly striving for excellence and the classroom is no exception. The members make it a point to be leaders in the classroom, voicing their minds and offering valuable insight.

Several members also use their expertise outside of the classroom offering tutoring at the SU Peer Academics Mentors or by earning valuable insight through internships or helping their professors with research. Members of the chapter have a diverse range of majors from the social sciences like Psychology and Sociology to the natural sciences of Biology and Chemistry and the Political Sciences as well as Business. The chapter holds cumulative GPA of 3.45.

The Ladies of Tri Delta also take advantage of the unique experience gained by studying abroad. Members span the globe having visited Africa, Argentina, China, Costa Rica, Peru, Scotland and many more countries. The sisters of Delta Delta Delta at Southwestern University know how to hit the books as well as the dance floor.
