The Theta Epsilon chapter is very dedicated to planning events to raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Our annual philanthropy events include Kickin' It For the Kids, a school-wide kickball tournament, Delta Desserts, an unlimited buffet of desserts, homemade by our very own Delta sisters, and Sincerely Yours, where each member writes letters to their friends and family. This year, we are excited to be adding D-HOP, an unlimited pancake breakfast.
The Theta Epsilon chapter is also greatly involved with BodyImage 3D, Tri Delta's initiative to change societal's view on body image from the "thin ideal" to a "healthy ideal" which emphasizes the importance of having a health mind, body, and spirit. As part of BI3D and Fat Talk Free Week, our chapter puts on a fashion show, "Cat Walk to End Fat Talk", which promotes positive body image by allowing students from the university to dress up and walk down a runway as well as take a pledge to have healthy ideals and end the "fat talk". All proceeds from this philanthropic event benefits the National Eating Disorder Association (NEDA). We are proud to have one of our own sisters, Estrella Thomas Mazarico, as one of the BodyImage 3D Ambassadors, who
has dedicated herself to helping women keep a healthy mind, body and spirit
