Chapter History

Since 1888, Tri Delta has been committed to offering our members a positive, safe, and memorable experience by preserving our past, respecting our present, and anticipating our future. The Tri Delta Chapter at Southwestern University is no different. We honor our past by thriving in our present and future events. Tri Delta aims to establish a perpetual bond of friendship among its members, to develop a stronger and more womanly character, to broaden the moral and intellectual life, and to assist its members in every possible way. Tri Delt also works towards promoting and developing mutually beneficial relationships between the Fraternity and the colleges and universities where the Fraternity has established chapters, to develop qualities of unselfish leadership among its members, and to encourage them to assume, with integrity and devotion to moral and democratic principles, the highest responsibilities of college women.

Today, Tri Delta at the Southwestern University is flourishing!  The chapter organizes philanthropy events such as Kickin’ It For the Kids, and Delta Desserts.  The women of Tri Delta at Southwestern University participate in numerous organization on campus and throughout the community. Their presence is positive and encouraging throughout both our campus community and the Georgetown community.
